«Este álbum es para mí muy, muy personal. Durante toda mi carrera nunca he tenido un gran impacto en el proceso creativo o el contenido de las canciones, incluso en el caso de "My Winter Storm" . Hasta que un día llegué a la conclusión de que nadie sabe mejor que yo, lo que realmente quieren. En el año 2006 en Finlandia, publicó un libro, en torno al cual se ha acumulado una gran cantidad de controversia, especialmente cuando tres años más tarde se publicó en traducción al Inglés. Hablo, por supuesto, "Once Upon A NIGHTWISH: La Biografía Oficial 1996 - 2006" por Marko Ollila. El autor atribuye en gran parte a su esposo y manager Marcelo Cabuli para provocar una división en NIGHTWISH, pero me pregunto cómo toda esta situación se ve desde su punto de vista. Es Marko Ollila le dio la oportunidad de comentar en absoluto en la biografía, o se trata más bien de un solo lado de versión?

Sé que desde el principio de la separación fue acompañado por un montón de emoción, pero con el tiempo he aprendido a poner la otra mejilla (risas).»
En ese caso, el tema NIGHTWISH ya pasó a algo completamente diferente. Quiero preguntarle acerca de uno de los temas fundamentales en su vida, es decir, aquí es cómo se conecta con la música y lo que te hizo hacer de su pasión?
«¡Menos mal! Buena pregunta. Mis padres siempre me dijeron que incluso cuando era una niña que tenía un don para la melodía. Tan pronto como oí algo rítmico, al instante lo memoricé. Al parecer, comencé a tararear lo aprendido cuando todavía no hablaba bien (risas) . Estaba rodeado por la música desde una edad temprana. Recuerdo que mis padres cantaban a mí y a mis hermanos, porque ambos tienen un gran talento vocal, pero nunca fueron profesionales. Mi hermano mayor, Timo también se desarrolló en esta dirección. Ahora es un gran músico y cantante... En general, esto es hecho conmigo todavía. Los tambores fueron su primer amor, por lo que en la vida cotidiana por sí mismo a otro fueron una inspiración (risas) . Yo tenía seis años hice mi clases de piano, asistir a clases particulares. «Sometimes I have these crazy ideas of cover songs (laughs). For example, "My Winter Storm" was a "Poison" by Alice Cooper ... You know, as a teenager, my older brother listened to much rock hard, so I did not have much choice but to listen to it (laughs). As a result, I became interested in hard rock metal long before reappearing in my life . "Still of the Night" I was with some difficulty - I had no idea how to bite this song (laughs). «I always heated. It is very important. During these years of learning assimilated many of the techniques that were with me today. It is known, each singer has their habits - for example, I have to feel my body is ready to sing. Therefore, the first section, I take a few deep breaths, and then I go to the vocal exercises, lasting about half an hour. Also have a lot of attention to what you eat and drink, and to maintain proper hygiene of sleep, because everything has an effect on voice quality.»
What are your plans for the near future?
«Currently on tour in Finland for Christmas concerts with the route, then I go with another promotional tour for" What Lies Beneath. "I can not wait to go back to see my Polish fans. I have many fond memories of the previous edition in Warsaw. I am also pleased at the thought of meeting with my fan club, who constantly help me, for which I am very grateful.
