Tarja Turunen: Estoy bien, muchas gracias.

Rockoverdose.gr: ¿Es agotador?

Tarja Turunen: No, no lo he escuchado

Tarja Turunen: Por supuesto.

Rockoverdose.gr: ¿Cuáles son las principales fuentes de inspiración para las letras de "My Winter Storm" y "What Lies Beneath";

Rockoverdose.gr: Esperamos que disfrutes al igual que nosotros de este show. Por lo tanto, esperamos poder grabar la canción del show para un DVD;

ENGLISH TRASLATE.
The Rock Overdose recently spoke with the much-loved by the Greek public Tarja Turunen, former NIGHTWISH singer now lead singer of the opportunity to visit Greece, with two special concerts in vivo, 28 and January 29, 2011, in Thessaloniki and Athens, respectively.

Rockoverdose.gr: Good afternoon and welcome TARJA, how are you?

Tarja Turunen: I'm fine, thank you very much. Preparing many new things, an exciting period.

Rockoverdose.gr how you feel about your latest album, "What Lies Beneath", how do you assess so far?

Tarja Turunen: Very positive, I travel a lot and the tour with the album has been around the world. I am very happy, I like my music. I finally found what makes me feel at ease and comfortable, so I'm excited about what will happen in the future. I'm still on tour, and I have done many live shows with "What Lies Beneath", but it keeps me alive and in control.

Rockoverdose.gr: Is it tiring?

Tarja Turunen: It's definitely frustrating to travel, some facets of the tour and especially the lack of sleep, lack of balance, difficulty in complying with the program anywhere, so it is not easy ... for a singer is too hard, trying not to get sick. I was not sick at all last year and this pleased me, but I think it has to do with the happiness I feel to do what I like, so do not get sick as often.

Rockoverdose.gr: It's been interesting clue who has done remixes and collaborations with artists such as ALICE COOPER, WHITESNAKE and SCORPIONS. Are you satisfied with the overall result?

Tarja Turunen: Of course, a woman singing these songs is a bit strange. Many people say "Wow, what's this" and the truth is that I am very generous with these issues. I love challenges and I am a little crazy for them, but what moves me is this madness. I felt nice and happy to meet these artists so important to work with them and above all to learn from them.
The best and most exciting moment was when I received a call from Klaus Meine of Scorpions ... If you think I was very young when I listen to Scorpions songs dancing with my friends at the club and then one day the singer of that band takes phone and asks me to integrate my voice to his next album, was just fantastic what happened and are very nice too.

Rockoverdose.gr: As we all know. Recently she sang a new song in Finland called "Outlanders", which is inspired by Paulo Coelho. How did this idea first?

Tarja Turunen: I'm a big fan of Paulo Coelho, I read all his books and have followed that path for many years now. It is very inspiring, really helped me as I write music and lyrics in my career and I had the opportunity to thank you for all this influence, he replied a week later, I mentioned the idea of "Outlanders", I had written some time ago and asked him if he could use the text of the piece and responded positively.
It's a very good man with a big heart and I have the hope to meet him someday, "Outlanders" is a new project with different electronic music, my dear friend, Torsten Stenzel, a German producer who lives in the Caribbean . Obviously we have a sample in the future, but there are no immediate plans.

Rockoverdose.gr: You have a side project called HARUS. Are there plans for new album?

Tarja Turunen: With HARUS just released a live recording of a concert of Christmas 2009. It took several hours and with the help burn CDs and DVDs, with luck we might even come to play in Greece. With HARUS, we are together since 2006, now entering under one name for all to hear the music we make. Not only did we play Christmas songs, we hope to make a record and writing pieces for this project.

Rockoverdose.gr: What is the musical direction of HARUS?

Tarja Turunen: We are all the pieces together because we do it our way, speaking of those pieces, organizing what will be played live and when we meet, to be verified. Everyone there is fantastic, they all have great careers for themselves and had a great time, really enjoyed being together and emerge strong and beautiful feelings for the world to listen.

Rockoverdose.gr: If you review your career, do you think music is made for metal and classical opera?

Tarja Turunen: I got the metal after the presence of classical music in my life. I started as a singer in a band. All fans know about training in classical music, it is no secret. I still do, classical music and metal. I'm in a good position today as a singer and I really enjoy. I'm not worried at all about having a serious career in opera or in the metal. I like doing both genders and there is nothing you can to change it.

Rockoverdose.gr: Nightwish released their new album several days ago. Have you heard a song from the Internet, if so, any comment?

Tarja Turunen: No, I have not heard

Rockoverdose.gr: Do you miss some of his time in Nightwish?

Tarja Turunen: No, I do not miss anything ... it has been many years since then and I do not look back but forward. It keeps me alive and gives me joy.

Rockoverdose.gr: While on tour in Greece, where they perform two live shows in January 2012. Are there any plans or surprises for these concerts?

Tarja Turunen: Of course. The setlist is changing because Greece is the last place on the tour, so there will be changes there. We also intend to burn a DVD of one of the shows end, so I'll make a very good setlist and maybe something different to listen to the fans. Of course, we will play very well the previous two albums songs and some new songs coming and I want to bring it to light now, because I've written enough material.

Rockoverdose.gr: What are the main sources of inspiration for the lyrics of "My Winter Storm" and "What Lies Beneath"

Tarja Turunen: Sure it is P. Coelho and his books, is the biggest influence I have, in general, when I write. Also the experiences I had in my personal life is very personal as I do in my music, every experience I had, or every "journey" I've done, all these experiences you can see in my work. I take it very personally, I move in thought and personal feeling.

Rockoverdose.gr: Can you tell a person you admire for their expertise in music so far?

Tarja Turunen: I think many musicians. There are so many people around the world who do what they want and live your dream, but the person who is heavily influenced primarily at me with his music has been Peter Gabriel (ex - Genesis), I'm a big fan, I know in Dublin makes 2 years and felt like a girl, trembling with excitement and joy. I love your work, your career and still makes magical things.

Rockoverdose.gr: Is there anyone who would like to know?

Tarja Turunen: I would meet so many musicians around the world. But certainly, first of all I would like to meet with P. Coelho and I hope this happens soon at a concert, where we can sit and have coffee to finish. This is something that makes me want to go ahead and dream.

Rockoverdose.gr: Can you describe your life so far with two words?

Tarja Turunen: Difficult this. I would say three words that best: "Life is a Dream."

Rockoverdose.gr: I agree with you. You must live your dream and I think the best of us. That nothing is impossible, right?

Tarja Turunen: Just live the moment. Do you know what are you, what you have?, If you're happy? I often wonder if I'm happy and everything and I realize that there is nothing better, no one can escape, you have to fight to be happy. If someone told me "Tarja, you can not sing anymore" would become a very unhappy because the music breathe, I live with my voice and I want to keep doing what my heart tells me and that's the hard lesson that all later Sooner or learn ... to listen to our hearts.

Rockoverdose.gr: And indeed, it is difficult to learn to love everything we do. Would you like to say something to the Greek fans?

Tarja Turunen: Yes! I very much hope to see you all there, thank you very much for your support over the years there have been beautiful to me and I have really wanted to be there for you in exchange for that support. Thanks again and hope to see you all at the end of January.

Rockoverdose.gr: We hope you enjoy as we do in this show. Therefore, we hope to record the song of the show for a DVD;

Tarja Turunen: I hope you succeed, why not? It would be great

Rockoverdose.gr: Thank you Tarja, see you soon and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Tarja Turunen: Thanks again, wish the same for you and all listeners. Be well!
