TARJA TURUNEN: "LA AUDIENCIA ARGENTINA ES LA MEJOR EN EL MUNDO"

La vocalista y compositora finesa brindó una entrevista a El Culto, en el cuál brinda detalles sobre la próxima gira entorno a Sudamérica, su vida repartida entre la familia y los fans, sus temas favoritos de su más reciente disco The Shadow Self.

"Los fans están recibiendo el álbum “The Shadow Self” de forma realmente positiva; el feedback y las críticas han sido geniales. De hecho, estoy tocando la mayoría de las canciones del álbum nuevo en estos shows y ha sido maravilloso ver a los fans cantar las letras conmigo", adelanta Tarja.

En relación a la conexión que tienen los albumes The Brightest Void (precuela) y The Shadow Self expresa que "están conectados en todos los sentidos, con sus temas y trabajo artístico, desde que escribí las canciones para éstos en el mismo período de tiempo, pensando que habría solo un álbum. Después de escribir las canciones, me di cuenta que había demasiadas canciones para un solo álbum. No queríamos lanzar un álbum doble y hacerlo aburrido para mis oyentes, ni quería dar las canciones a lados-B o singles o bonus por diferentes territorios como se hace comúnmente"

Asimismo, la diva expresa que los temas preferidos para cantar en el escenario son "Innocence", "Too Many", y "Love To Hate": "son las canciones más dramáticas en vivo y me encanta el drama!"

Sobre su administración en torno a la familia y los miembros de la banda aclara que su hija Naomi Erika "estuvo en todos lados conmigo, en tours y en las sesiones de grabación. Ya entiende totalmente el trabajo de sus padres, porque ella ha visto mucho en sus primeros cuatro años de vida. Recientemente empecé el tour sin ella y eso también ha funcionado bien, teniendo a su papá en casa con ella"

Finalmente manifestó su anseidad por tocar en Argentina (shows en Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Rosario y Córdoba) y disparó: "Después de todo, la audiencia argentina es la mejor en el mundo! Estoy encantada por el hecho de que puedo hacer conciertos en otras ciudades y no sólo Buenos Aires."
