TARJA TURUNEN busca la atmósfera de Navidad otra vez.

Hace cinco años, lanzó el álbum “Aliento de Eternidad” (Kuin Henkäys Ikuisuutta). Ahora es Christmas Concerts, que consta de un disco en concierto y en vivo, en el Salón de Sibelius.

El álbum fue grabado en Lahti, hace dos años y en el que TURUNEN es acompañada por el organista Kalevi Kiviniemi y la percusión de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Lahti del artista Markku Krohn. Además guitarrista universal Marzi Nyman.

"El nombre de la banda es HARUS…"

TURUNEN, y HARUS no se conforman con canciones meramente tradicionales. En el medio del álbum habrá sets de Navidad –Noche de Paz– y luego comienzan a tocar una extraña canción, Astral Bell. Pareciera como si Santa Claus hubiese cometido un error en esta ocasión y disfrutara de algo más que un pastel de Navidad.

"Es una canción muy diferente. Se dice mucho sobre los chicos. El grupo está formado por músicos que tocan lo que les viene a la mente, y saben cómo hacerlo con estilo", dice TURUNEN sobre el grupo que la respalda en el proyecto.

MUÑECO DE NIEVE Y GORRIÓN

En “In Concert - Live en el Salón de Sibelius” se puede encontrar, entre otras cosas, la buena vieja canción tema Walking In The Air, pero por lo demás tiene en gran medida la atmósfera de Finlandia.Además de Sparrow, destacando un par de canciones de Navidad de John Lennon y Paul McCartney.

Sin duda, el álbum de TURUNEN se escuchará en todo el mundo, entre estos los villancicos cantados en finlandés, aunque nadie logre entender nada.

"Si es que nadie lo entiende, sin embargo, Finlandia es considerado entre los lugares con el lenguaje más exótico", dice TURUNEN.

 Por ejemplo, en Alemania y Brasil, el público se emocionó al escucharle cantar en finlandés, a lo que la ex-cantante de Nightwish comenta:
