En relación a Colours In The Dark: Nunca se sabe qué va a pasar pero es un momento muy lindo, es un disco muy personal para mí. Toda la gente que ya escuchó en Europa, en otros países me dicen que es mi mejor disco. Es el tercer disco. Significa que es lo más importante para mí también porque es cómo algo que tiene que ver con mi identidad como artista. Estoy componiendo muchas más canciones que antes, puedo dar pistas como cantante. Es mucho más que sólo cantar. produzco mis discos y es mucho más trabajo. Las guitarras suenan más agresivas. El album es más dinámico. Tiene todo lo que yo busco en música hoy. Es un gran disco, adaptándolo en un año. Acabamos de grabar en junio.

Con respecto a Nightwish y la actualidad del rock - metal: Después de los años con la banda, estuve con Nightwish casi 9 años y no sabía nada de metal pero me encantó siempre el rock, música clásica. Mi disco es mucho más rock pero las guitarras son mucho mas heavys. Nunca puedo dejar de lado la música clásica. Es como unidad tener guitarras. Es una guía en la que vas aprendiendo cosas. Yo tengo mucho que lidiar. Hay muchos músicos de EE.UU, Europa, es una cosa cultural.

Su canción favorita del CITD: Las canciones son muy dinámicas y muy diferentes. No tienen sonidos similiraes. Hoy se puede decir que Victim of Ritual es la canción más teatral que me encanta. Darkness es un cover. El primer single va a ser Victim of Ritual porque decidí junto con mi sello (discográfica). Ellos dijeron que es una canción que representa mi carrera y como artista mejor. Es una canción difícil, y que dice todo.

En referencia a la composición y su momento actual y personal: La composición la hice yo junto con guitarristas (Alex Scholpp y Julián Barrett). Hace muchos años estudié música clásica. Estoy muy contenta. Jamás estuve tan feliz. Es increíble la libertad. No puedo comparar la vida anterior con la banda como ser un miembro de la banda totalmente diferente a ser un artista: tener control de todo. Antes era una cantante, nada más. Es un cambio muy lindo.

La declaración la formuló la cantante finesa, Tarja Turunen en una entrevista realizada a Perú.com. En ese sentido, la compositora se refirió a la gira que realiza con Mike Terrana, denominada "Beauty And The Beat" y sus gustos por la música de películas.

En relación a Beauty And The Beat y su presentación del próximo 30 de junio en Perú, comentó: "Es un concierto totalmente diferente a la última vez que me vieron en 2011. Vamos a presentar mucha música clásica, además de rock con algo de Queen, Led Zepellin, Nightwish, canciones mías. Va a ser un evento muy lindo y divertido."

Sobre la abrupta salida de Anette Olzon en Nightwish, Turunen manifestó: "No sé, no sé nada de eso. Si es algo sobre la banda ni me interesa que hacen hoy en día, estoy fuera de eso. No tengo opinión, espero que ella esté bien. No la conozco personalmente todavía, aunque me encantaría."

En el último par de semanas estuve muy ocupada haciendo entrevistas y la promoción de mi nuevo álbum. Los días han sido muy largos, pero recibí excelentes comentarios de la prensa. Para la primera vez que veo que la gente está empezando a entender dónde voy con mi música y eso me hace muy feliz.
Hace poco estuve en Londres y París. Todo lo que vi fue la habitación del hotel y el restaurante y salió sólo para algunas sesiones de fotos. Me gustan mucho estas dos ciudades. Se sentía extraño no tener aún tiempo para hacer cualquier compra! :)

También filmamos un nuevo video musical en Berlín para mi single "Víctim Of Ritual". Ayer recibí la versión final para su aprobación y debo decir que estoy muy contenta con él.
Había alrededor de 40 personas que trabajan en la producción y aquí se pueden ver algunos de nosotros tener nuestro almuerzo.

El video es una historia de 5:50 minutos, pero no se siente tanto tiempo para nada;)
Nosotros ya les mostramos un trailer del video el miércoles 26 de junio, pero aquí somos pocas imágenes más hasta entonces.

Hoy vamos a empezar a ensayar con la orquesta y el coro de la próxima belleza y el espectáculo Beat en México DF. Espero que todo va bien.
