La soprano finlandesa dio dos recitales en nuestra ciudad. Se presentó viernes y sábado en el teatro El Círculo donde grabó su primer DVD que próximamente editará a nivel mundial.
La ex vocalista de NIGHTWISH, TARJA TURUNEN, abrió en Rosario, el "WLB FINAL TOUR 2012", donde no sólo grabó su DVD sino que reivindicó la fuerza y la potencia del power metal sinfónico.
Pasadas las 21.30, TARJA dio comienzo a un recital histórico para los fanáticos metaleros. Con cuatro cambios de vestuario (pasó por vestidos negros, a capas blancas y negras), conmovió a los seguidores rosarinos que no pararon de halagarla.
El Círculo estaba colmado de cámaras (móviles y fijas) y luces de diferentes colores, que no sólo iluminaban a los espectadores sino que, también, resaltaban la figura de la diva del heavy. Los juegos de luces y un dispositivo, ubicado sobre el escenario, que producía el efecto de viento produjeron en la finlandesa la imagen de un ángel.
La banda que la acompañó estaba compuesta por: KEVIN CHOWN (Bajo), DOUG WIMBISH, también bajista de la famosa banda Living Colour, el argentino JULIÁN BARRETT (Guitarra), ALEX SCHOLPP (Guitarra), CHRISTIAN KRETSCHMAR (Teclados), MAX LILJA (Cello) y MIKE TERRANA (Batería). Este último se lució con un “solo de batería” y tocó al ritmo de “El cancan”, que dejó a más de un fan boquiabierto.
En casi dos horas de show y con un setlist diferente al del viernes, la vocalista, repasó temas como “I walk alone”, “Boy and the ghost”, “Die alive”, hizo covers de Bon Jovy, “Living on a Prayer”, y de Whitesnake, “Still of the night”. También algunos clásicos de la banda NIGHTWISH, “Over the hills and far away” y “Nemo”. Además, cantó entre el público que respetuosamente la escuchó entonar “The reign” y tuvo como invitado al vocalista argentino, Diego Valdez, quien estuvo presente para cantar junto a la finlandesa” El Fantasma de la Opera” tema que interpretaba la soprano con su ex banda, NIGHTWISH.
Casada con el empresario y mánager argentino MARCELO CABULI, TARJA TURUNEN se destaca por ser una de las artistas más populares en su género. Reconocida en toda Europa, y muy querida en su país natal, la también compositora, tiene tres álbumes como solista, posteriores a seis albums junto a NIGHTWISH.
El recital fue una fiesta llena de emociones, efusividades, sonidos penetrantes. TARJA TURUNEN se mostró conmovida, en más de una ocasión, por el cariño que le demostró el público rosarino. La finlandesa no sólo posee una voz colosal por lo profunda y potente, sino también por su presencia escénica. Dueña de grandes ojos celestes, tez blanca y pelo negro azabache, la diva del metal sinfónico, deslumbró con su voz que resonó en cada espacio del teatro.
