TARJA TURUNEN ANUNCIA FINALIZACIÓN DE GRABACIÓN DE VOCES Y SESIÓN DE FOTOS

La ex vocalista de Nightwish, TARJA TURUNEN anunció a través de su blog la finalización de grabación de voces, los arreglos de orquesta y las nuevas fotos promocionales tomadas por Eugenio Mazzinghi. ¿Quién es Jim Dooley?

"Y finalmente todas las grabaciones vocales para el nuevo CD está hecho! :) :). Esto ya es razón suficiente para abrir una botella de vino para celebrar, ya que la sensación es que estamos casi allí...

Siempre me encanta experimentar cosas nuevas con mi voz y esta última canción que grabamos con mi ingeniero en Buenos Aires, Mario, no fue una excepción. Esta canción me decidí hace un tiempo que será el tema que cierra el álbum. Fue todo un reto escribir sobre la historia de "Medusa".

SOBRE JIM DOOLEY.
Jim Dooley es un compositor ganador de un Emmy bien conocido en cine, televisión y vídeo. Dooley terminó recientemente su musicalmente innovador videojuego Disney Interactive "Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two". Su trabajo también ha incluido la aclamada serie de ABC, "Pushing Daisies".

Dooley ganó un Emmy 2008 al "Mejor Composición Musical Original para una Serie." Este año, dos proyectos con música de Jim fueron galardonados con los Oscar nominaciones, el corto de animación "Maggie Simpson en el clan de guardería", y el corto de acción real "The Boys Buzkashi".

And finally all the vocal recordings for the new CD are done! :) :). This is already enough good reason to open a bottle of wine to celebrate, as the feeling is that we are almost there…

I always love to experiment new things with my voice and this last song we recorded with my engineer in Buenos Aires, Mario, was not an exception. This song I decided some time ago that it will be the closing track of the album. It was challenging to write about the story of “Medusa”.

Just before travelling to L.A. to work with Jim Dooley the orchestra and choir arrangements I run into Eugenio’s studio to take new promotional photos.

ABOUT JIM DOOLEY.
Jim Dooley is an Emmy-winning composer well known in film, television and video. Dooley recently completed his musically innovative Disney Interactive video game "Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two". His work has also included the acclaimed ABC series "Pushing Daisies".

TARJA TURUNEN ANUNCIA FECHA DE LANZAMIENTO DE NUEVO ALBUM

La vocalista finesa anuncia los planes del nuevo álbum que saldrá el próximo 30 de agosto y la gira mundial "Beauty And The Beat".

"Queridos fans, este es el lugar donde yo voy a estar escribiendo sobre el proceso de mi nuevo álbum. Estoy muy contenta con la producción hasta el momento y realmente no puedo esperar para terminar el álbum!

Va a ser "asesino, asesino..." :). En unos días me voy a grabar las voces finales para la última canción del álbum. Será un final duro para las grabaciones vocales, ya que la canción tiene varios coros e incluso algún tipo de toque étnico, por lo que tendré que sudar.

De todos modos esta producción discográfica ha ido muy suavemente hacia delante ya que todas las piezas están juntas y el equipo que ha estado trabajando conmigo antes de que sigue siendo el mismo.

Es sólo cada vez mejor! Aquí estoy grabando el piano por un par de canciones.

Y aquí nos estamos divirtiendo con mi hija en el estudio de la escucha de la toma.

En pocos días voy a estar volando a Los Ángeles para trabajar con Jim Dooley los arreglos de orquesta y coro, y luego la próxima semana inicia la gira mundial "Beauty and the Beat".

TIM PALMER CONTINÚA COLABORANDO EN EL PROCESO DE GRABACIÓN DEL DISCO DE TARJA TURUNEN

El productor musical británico, ingeniero de sonido, guitarrista y compositor de rock y música alternativa, Tim Palmer continúa en participando en el proceso de grabación del tercer disco de la vocalista y compositoria finlandesa Tarja Turunen.

Palmer, a través de su cuenta de twitter dió a conocer que se encuentra grabando junto a Turunen: "Mezclando-grabando con Tarja Turunen es fabuloso. Estoy amando el nuevo material", precisó el ingeniero británico.

El miércoles 18 de abril de 2012, la ex cantante de Nightwish había anunciado que se encuentra grabando con Tim Palmer nuevamente.

Sobre Tim Palmer.

Palmer comenzó su carrera en Londres. No tardó en ingeniería y a los 21 años tuvo su primer éxito real de mezclar el número uno solo "Murió en su brazos esta noche" para Cutting Crew. En la segunda mitad de los años 80, Palmer se convirtió en un productor, y sus agudos oídos y los conocimientos técnicos contribuyeron a grupos como las gotas de limón Poderosos, la Misión y Gene Loves Jezebel. El siguiente Tim producido "Now and Zen" de icono del rock Robert Plant (Top 10 album EE.UU.), LP debut de David Bowie con Tin Machine y cerca de los 80 Palmer mixto "diez" por Pearl Jam.

Tarja conoce a Simone del ambiente del metal

La vocalista de Epica, banda de metal sinfónico holandesa, Simone Simons, evalúa realizar un dueto en el futuro junto a la ex vocalista de Nightwish, Tarja Turunen.

Simons, contestó preguntas a través de la red social Twitter y se le consultó sobre la posibilidad de hacer un dueto con Turunen en proyecto solitario o junto a Epica.

"Amo a Tarja, un dueto sería genial", manifestó Simone.

Sobre Epica.

 Banda holandesa de metal sinfónico fundada en el año 2003 por el guitarrista y vocalista Mark Jansen posterior a su salida de After Forever. El nombre deriva del título del disco de la banda estadounidense Kamelot, del mismo año.

Su música mezcla la voz mezzo soprano de Simone Simons acompañada con guitarras melódicas y contundentes, usando voces guturales, coros y pasajes en latín, y letras con conceptos filosófico de la ciencia, la religión y los acontecimientos mundiales. Los seis miembros se encargan de la escritura de la música, pero Mark Jansen y Simone Simons escriben la mayoría de las letras.

About Epica.
  Dutch symphonic metal band founded in 2003 by guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen subsequent to his departure from After Forever. The name derives from the title of the album of the American band Kamelot, the same year.

Their music mixes mezzo soprano voice of Simone Simons and accompanied with strong melodic guitars, using grunts, choruses and passages in Latin, and letters with philosophical concepts of science, religion and world events.
