It was a windy night and a long line of black shirts waiting outside Club Vertigo, on Paseo Colon in San Jose. Admission to the establishment took a little longer than expected, as the first concert of Tarja Turunen in Costa Rica suffered a delay due to problems in the electrical system (as I heard someone say to two managers of sound). Having overcome this drawback, the small room was full of screaming fans to force the name of the famous former lead singer of Nightwish.
The lights came on and the first to enter the stage was Max Lilja with his cello in hand, followed by the other musicians accompanying Tarja during his tour (which is the famous Mike Terrana, who has worked with artists such as Rage and Yngwie Malmsteen). With all off on stage, it did not take long for the popular singer from taking over the stage wearing a long black dress. A keypad announced the coming of Death Anteroom issue, opening the disc chanted What Lies Beneath (2010). My Little Phoenix came quickly and was Tarja took the time to thank his audience: "Thanks San Jose". Prescribing tracks from his latest work, such as Dark Star and Naiad addition to Falling Awake, the band got the audience to jump. "It's a blessing to my coming to this country," declared before releasing Tarja I Walk Alone first issue of English language debut as soloist. Mike Terrana then surprised the audience with a solo in which he demonstrated his great skill and ability, connected with the popular song "CanCan" by Jacques Offenbach.
Tarja came on stage with a shorter dress and the theme Little Lies, followed by Into The Sun. The singer encouraged the audience inviting them to raise their arms. Then was heard a keyboard that startled me, since I never imagined I would hear live Nemo. However, having begun to sing Tarja, her manager and husband Marcelo Cabuli stopped the concert because it was a problem with the rail located in front of the stage.
People cooperated in solving the problem and the situation became more. The familiar theme roared again and the people responded not so much singing the theme but jumping like crazy. Were available then the stage for an acoustic set, which placed the band on stage with a bongo, guitar and a low acoustic cello and keyboard, taking fans through The Rivers Of Lust issues, Minor Heaven, Mountain of Silence, Sing for Me and I Feel Immortal. At the end Tarja asked his audience: "Do you want more? Any more? "And attendees were quick to answer yes.

After the cries of "Encore!, Another" by the public, the musicians returned to perform In For Kill, followed by the epic Over the Hills and Far Away, which saw Tarja dressed in white. Fans chanted and jumped, knowing that the evening was nearly over. The singer introduced his band: cellist Max Lilja, Sholpp Alex on guitar, Christian Kretschmar the keyboard, Kevin Chown on bass and Mike Terrana on drums.
The band released Die Alive, strong and energetic theme, after which Tarja said, "I will not ever forget, I hope to see you soon with the next album would be a dream." After these words rang Until My Last Breath, one of the most anticipated songs of the night, in which the keyboard may have had more importance than necessary (sounding a little above the other instruments). Despite the minor problems he faced, gave a concert Tarja quality which had an amazing contact with the audience, which responded brilliantly and build on extremely grateful for their presentation.
